Casino Parties by Show Biz productions is the recipient of the Best Solution To Logistical Issue, awarded by the National Association of Casino Party Operators.

Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions is proud to announce that they are the recipient of the 2019 Best Solution to a Logistical Issue, presented by the National Association of Casino Party Operators (NACPO). This award honors the leaders in the Casino Party Operator business. Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions has excelled in the Best Solution to Logistical Issue category.

This award-winning event was held on Wednesday, December 12th at at the Sax Dinner Theater and Lounge...a refurbished club that specializes in comedy and burlesque shows. The task was to find room for 2 Craps tables, a Double Roulette, 7 Blackjack tables, 2 Poker tables, a Wheel of Fortune, 5 slot machines, and 250 guests. In an arena with fixed tables and limited spacing, we had our work cut out for us. There wasn't enough room for our large 14' Craps table so we had to use two 6' Craps tables to accommodate. Four of the Blackjacks and a Money Wheel were placed downstairs in alcoves in one of the few locations where tables weren't bolted in. On the second floor, there was a landing that could hold our Double Roulette. Slot machines were placed on every available ledge and bar top. With all available spacing full, that left the question of where to place the two Poker tables. We found two upholstered, curved booths with seating on an open end to fit a dealer. We solved the biggest issue by placing a Poker felt onto the immovable table. To my surprise, the guests loved the closed quarters atmosphere of our Poker "tables" and the booths were full all night. Sometimes, this business allows us the opportunity to observe the uniquest venues our cities have to offer, and we have the chance to pull off their events!

The NACPO members voted on the winner of this award. This Association is made up of 50 companies nationwide that produce charity Casino Fun Nights or fundraisers for a wide variety of worthwhile causes. The 2019 conference was held at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The companies in attendance are the leaders in the Fun Night industry.

Orioles Magic Casino Night at Camden Yards

On February 2nd, 2023, we had the pleasure of providing our Casino Entertainment at Orioles Park at Camden Yards. The casino was well received and attended by current Orioles players. Also in attendance was their exciting new prospect, Gunnar Henderson, as well as Hall of Famer, the great Jim Palmer! It was an exciting night for the fans as the team is headed to their Spring headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. Everyone is looking forward to the upcoming season, as our thoughts turn to baseball and the prospects of the buzzworthy Orioles team. The event was a phenomenal success, and everyone received $100,000 in Orioles Bucks (the casino night's "funny money"). The Orioles bird flew in, and a little birdie told us that he really enjoys playing the casino games and posing for photos with fans. The night concluded with prizes, raffles, and Orioles memorabilia for the guests to take home to enjoy as a memento of the evening.

Ian was an equal opportunity destroyer from the mansions that inhabit our coastline to the prefabs and trailers where many people call home. Shucker's celebrates 100 years Fort Myers Beach restaurant holds 1920's-theme bash

With men in suits and women in 1920's flapper outfits, Shucker's at the Gulfshore and Cottage Bar celebrated 100 years of being on the beach Saturday with a casino-themed party that paid homage to its roots and raised money for Fort Myers Beach Elementary School.

Patrons gathered around poker tables, blackjack tables, a craps table and a roulette wheel as part of the fundraising efforts for the school. Guests purchased play money, with the biggest winners earning prizes such as weekend getaway vacations and jet ski rentals while the band Smack Daddy played music from the The Cars and Eddie Money.

"We are just absolutely blown away at the response from the community," Shucker's General Manager Brian Nagle said.

"I think this is what Fort Myers Beach needed right now," he said. "It's just a great way for everybody to come together for teachers and students."

The owners of Shucker's were all in town for the festivities, with co-owners Greta Reinfried-Corazza and Dana Gosford remarking on how much times have changed since their arrival on the Beach in the 1960's when they attended Fort Myers Beach Elementary School.

Caps 2020 Casino Night Fundraiser

The Capitals Casino Night fundraiser at the MGM Grand National Harbor was a tremendous success! The high-profile event took place on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 to the delight of over 200 guests. Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions provided the gaming tables and the Capitals players acted as the dealers for the night. Alex Ovechkin took some of his signature on-ice ferocity to the poker tables. Braden Holtby and Nicklas Backstrom yielded the stick on the Craps table. John Carlson took a swing at Roulette. Lars Eller, Carl Haeglin, Radko Gudas, T.J. Oshie, Tom Wilson, and many of the other players got to join on the action as well. Of course, our consummate professional Show Biz Productions staff were waiting in the wings, eager to guide and assist the amateur dealers with the games. The winners at each individual table received a signed jersey from the players dealing the games. The guests truly enjoyed getting the change to mingle and play the games with the players.

We have had the priviledge to be involved with this fundraiser that has raised over $2.5 million for the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation for nearly a decade. We always take great pride in our work, but we are exceptionally proud of the great things that have come out of this charitable event.

Casino Parties by Show Biz productions is the recipient of the Best Solution to Logistical Issue, awarded by the National Association of Casino Party Operators.

This award-winning event was held on Wednesday, December 12th at the Sax Dinner Theater and Lounge...a refurbished club that specializes in comedy and burlesque shows. The task was to find room for 2 Craps tables, a Double Roulette, 7 Blackjack tables, 2 Poker tables, a Wheel of Fortune, 5 slot machines, and 250 guests. In an arena with fixed tables and limited spacing, we had our work cut out for us. There wasn't enough room for our large 14’ Craps table so we had to use two 6' Craps tables to accommodate. Four of the Blackjacks and a Money Wheel were placed downstairs in alcoves in one of the few locations where tables weren't bolted in. On the second floor, there was a landing that could hold our Double Roulette. Slot machines were placed on every available ledge and bar top. With all available spacing full, that left the question of where to place the two Poker tables. We found two upholstered, curved booths with seating on an open end to fit a dealer. We solved the biggest issue by placing a Poker felt onto the immovable table. To my surprise, the guests loved the closed quarters atmosphere of our Poker "tables" and the booths were full all night. Sometimes, this business allows us the opportunity to observe the uniquest venues our cities have to offer, and we have the chance to pull off their events!

The speakeasies of yesteryear were bursting at the seams of unassuming back alley entranceways until you were greeted by Big Al at the sliding peephoole door. After you entered, they were elegant places that were playful, intriguing, and mysterious. It featured illegal gambling and Hooch as well as all that Jazz, the rhythm of the era. This time also featured Great Gatsby Long Island yard parties. These parties were very elegant and glamorous and held in Gatsby’s mansion. The theme of The Great Gatsby is the american dream as well as a romantic story. It also included swing jazz, casino tables, feathers and champagne! It was an extravagant party. Show Biz Productions recreates this F.Scott Fitzgerald theme with its white canvas palm trees, faux marble archway and pillars topped with ferns as well as unique lighting. We can outfit your guests with fedora hats, beads and feathers to make them feel like they are Jay Gatsby and Daisy.

Casino Parties by Show Biz productions is the recipient of the Best Solution To Logistical Issue, awarded by the National Association of Casino Party Operators. Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions is proud to announce that they are the recipient of the 2019 Best Solution to a Logistical Issue, presented by the National Association of Casino Party Operators (NACPO). This award honors the leaders in the Casino Party Operator business. Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions has excelled in the Best Solution to Logistical Issue category. This award-winning event was held on Wednesday, December 12th at at the Sax Dinner Theater and Lounge...a refurbished club that specializes in comedy and burlesque shows. The task was to find room for 2 Craps tables, a Double Roulette, 7 Blackjack tables, 2 Poker tables, a Wheel of Fortune, 5 slot machines, and 250 guests. In an arena with fixed tables and limited spacing, we had our work cut out for us. There wasn't enough room for our large 14’ Craps table so we had to use two 6' Craps tables to accommodate. Four of the Blackjacks and a Money Wheel were placed downstairs in alcoves in one of the few locations where tables weren't bolted in. On the second floor, there was a landing that could hold our Double Roulette. Slot machines were placed on every available ledge and bar top. With all available spacing full, that left the question of where to place the two Poker tables. We found two upholstered, curved booths with seating on an open end to fit a dealer. We solved the biggest issue by placing a Poker felt onto the immovable table. To my surprise, the guests loved the closed quarters atmosphere of our Poker "tables" and the booths were full all night. Sometimes, this business allows us the opportunity to observe the uniquest venues our cities have to offer, and we have the chance to pull off their events! The NACPO members voted on the winner of this award. This Association is made up of 50 companies nationwide that produce charity Casino Fun Nights or fundraisers for a wide variety of worthwhile causes. The 2019 conference was held at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. The companies in attendance are the leaders in the Fun Night industry. On Monday, July 1st, 2019, my mother, Saundra Phillips, passed away. In her honor, I thought I would write a post to talk a little bit about her and the huge impact she had on me.

An icon of the Baltimore entertainment industry, Saundra spent a large portion of her life as a local TV star, MC, and theatrical agent.

Through her company the Alan Agency (named for her first-born son), which she started in 1952, she was able to work with many big name entertainers such as Henny Youngman, Joan Rivers, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Robert Goulet, Jackie Mason, Willie Nelson, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Roberta Flack, just to name a few! She is the reason I got into the entertainment business in the first place.

Later in life, she opted for a second career as a Blackjack Dealer at Casino Parties by Show Biz Productions; in 2013, she won an award for Best Croupier (Dealer) at the age of 93!

She will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Craps Tournament Rules

We are happy to announce our new and exciting Craps tournament. Below are the rules:

Each guest receives $100,000 in tournament chips.
There is a $1,000 minimum and a $5,000 maximum, with the exception of betting on the 6 + 8, which would be $6,000 with double odds on each bet allowed. Hardways can only be bet for $1,000.
Each round will consist of 20 roles and the bets will go around the table with first person betting, followed in order by each player to keep the betting fair and even. Each player will be assigned a certain position on the table.
No late bets or called “Off Bets” are allowed. All bets must be made when the dice are in the center of the table in order.
Keep all your chips in plain sight. No hiding of chips or holding them in your hand unless you are putting them directly on the layout without delay.
There can be no conversation between players about their betting as this would be considered collusion between players. The players will receive one warning and then they will be disqualified and forfeit all chips.
You generally must keep the denominations separate. No "barber pole"alternating stripes or anything like that. However, if that rule isn’t in place, then as I just mentioned; you can break your chips into the anticipated betting-units that you are planning to wager.
You cannot give your chips to another player at any time, nor can you take Odds behind someone else's bet even if they aren't laying Odds or even if they have excess "head room" on their Odds-bets or any other bet, and all chips must be accounted for before results become official.
In any disputes the Pit Boss/ Supervisor’s decision is final.

The dice were rollin’ and roulette wheel spinnin’ last Saturday, February 23rd, as the beach community turned out to support Beach Elementary School PTO in a return engagement of High Rollin’ on the Beach. This year’s fundraiser was held on the grounds of the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club in a large tent that allowed over 200 people to participate in the gaming experience using Fun Money. Winnings were paid out in raffle tickets that could be used for a variety of donated prizes. While the final tally was not yet available, organizers believed that over $22,000 was raised for the enrichment, technology and educational needs of Beach School students. Photos by Sarah List.

Congratulations to Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington CAPS for bringing the Stanley Cup to Washington DC. This has been long- awaited for CAPS fans in DC. Having worked with the CAPS Players for many years now, providing our casino for their fundraiser and getting to know some of the players, we are sharing in their success. Caps Casino Night 2018

We are proud to be the Casino vendor and one of the Co-Sponsors for the 7th annual Capitals Casino Night to benefit the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation. This event was held January 4th, 2018 at the newly opened MGM National Harbor. The Casino Night featured the entire team along with coaches, alumni and the owners participating in the casino games with the fans. This gave Capital’s fans the unique opportunity to see the players without looking through the glass or their helmets. This gives the fans a unique opportunity to play the casino games and have an interactive, casual experience with the Capital’s players. This event was a media event, as well, that had the major Metropolitan DC television stations as well as the local cable sports networks shooting videos and taking pictures.
